The Raven Cont'd...

If ever Jim and I ended, it would have been that night. If not for him being disrespectful to Sonny & I.... It would have been his statement that..."She's your girl now".

Leave it to a Man to make a statement like that. As if I couldn't make that decision myself. Maybe it was because I hadn't taken control of the situation before it came to this. It could have been my own fault / that he spoke of me like an inanimate object. After all, I let him have me, and for years without needing to worry or fret, though he did.

To him it was romantic. Like losing a high school sweetheart to the better man. Too bad she didn't get that type of end. He would never let go of her and she would be ever affected by his roving hand & mind. Even if she didn't know it.

By the time Sonny came in the Raven door, I was already on my second shot of whiskey and stark raving mad at that. Sitting in the booth I had pushed him down in just a week before, I was trying to read his face. I think it made me even more livid that he wasn't all that enraged. It was like he finally got that resolve. The exchange had been made. I had switched hands and they took care of it like businessmen.

Hello, just wanted to stop by and say hi. I could'nt help getting caught up in this story that is your life. It has drawn me in . From what I can gather, you are an attractive lady , that works for a restaurant, and ends up having an affair with a married man.

I have to come back and read from the beginning. You're life sure reads like a novel. That's my silly little attempt at humor, forgive me, i'm corny!!
